COFFEE WITH TERRYK & MAC 2/3/2016 10:02am est
arizona49:  mac Gooooooooood Wed morning
mac:  Good morning all! Well looks like the end totals are 20" where I live. Kids thought they would get another snow day. They were wrong...hahahahaha!!!!
mac:  Thanks AZ
arizona49:  Wow you sure did get dumped on
majicsmoke:  20" our kids would freak!
mac:  So did everyone see TK's driveby last night? And what will we do with this latest development emotionally?
majicsmoke:  still waiting
mac:  Exactly majic.
mac:  Nothing else we can do.
jannilew: calm cool collected --- and full of Faith
mac:  AMEN JANNI!!! That's the ticket!
mac:  There were some interesting pieces put in the puzzle the last few days that I have ben mulling over that I would like to share with you all.
majicsmoke:  ok
mac:  IF you have been keeping up on the news over there, Sistani has called for a Fatwa, which is equal to a religious order to replace Abadi with Fayad who is the minister of defense
mac:  Then last night the finance minister has to go to London for two months for a surgery, Immediately.
mac:  And who does the National alliance want to replace him with?
mac:  Abadi
bigsammie:  Is this like a promotion for Abadi?
majicsmoke:  how happy would he be?
mac:  Hold on, Abadis cabinet reshuffle entails reducing the ministries from 22 to 18.
mac:  Bigsammie, this would be a demotion but it would be better for the country.
mac:  Majic, IDK we will have to see how it plays.
mac:  Their constitution requires a motion and a vote
mac:  So we will have to see
jannilew: Is this just posturing or really going to happen? Wasn't Abadi elected?
arizona49:  Good morning TK
terryk:  MORNING ALL
majicsmoke:  hey terryk
mac:  Yes Janni he was elected, beat Maliki
terryk:  THOUGHT I STOP IN BEFORE I HEAD OUT TODAY, WORKING ON SUBMITTING SOME ONLINE DOCUMENTS
mac:  Good morning boss.
terryk: SO ALOT OF STUFF GOING ON I KNOW MAC WILL TALK ABOUT
terryk:  MORNING MAC
terryk:  VERY VERY EXCITING DAYS
mac:  I did read up on the TPP last night. Very suspicious how it came about.
mac:  This gets signed in New Zealand tomorrow.
majicsmoke:
TPP? mac:
Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement
majicsmoke:  thanks
arizona49:  The Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement at a glance 5:48 PM Wednesday Feb 3, 2016 >>> http://www.nzherald.co.nz/...tid=11583987
mac:  The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a trade agreement among twelve Pacific Rim countries concerning a variety of matters of economic policy, which was reached on 5 October 2015 after 7 years of negotiations. The agreement's stated goal had been to "promote economic growth; support the creation and retention of jobs; enhance innovation, productivity and competitiveness; raise living standards; reduce poverty in our countries; and promote transparency, good governance, and enhanced labor and environmental protections."[5] Among other things, the TPP Agreement contains measures to lower trade barriers such as tariffs,[6] and establish an investor-state dispute settlement mechanism (but states can opt out from tobacco-related measures).[5][7] The United States government has considered the TPP as the companion agreement to the proposed Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), a broadly similar agreement between the United States and the European Union.[8]
mac:  But all that glitters is not gold. There are some good points but bad ones as well. Very little consultation with the affected industries.
arizona49: 2/2/2016 TPP - what you need to know >>> The Trans Pacific Partnership will be signed in Auckland on Thursday. So what exactly is this deal? What's at stake? Where to next? >>> http://www.radionz.co.nz/...need-to-know
mac:  Again by the time we see how it will affect us this will already be inacted. So we will have to understand this agreement and how it will impact us investing internationally. IMO
mac:  TK, there was a article out this AM stating that Iraq's reserves are up to 66 billion. Last I saw they were moving from 56-59 billion to 43 billion.
mac:  And that the GOI WILL be borrowing 12 billion to cover Gov't salaries??
mac:  From the CBI
terryk:  that's great mac
terryk:  hey gotta run downstairs for a moment
mac:  Tariffs ARE implemented in ALL access points land sea air in Iraq.
mac:  Also Michigander brought in some great stuff yesterday also.
Michigander Morning Drive By 2/2/2016 11:02am est  http://www.thegetteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,57886.0.html
mac:  SO my observation from the BIG PICTURE side is that things are coming to a head again and this time won't and cant be delayed. Everytime Iraq has been placed in a "put up or shut up" position they have been able to weasel out. Looks like they cant now. Sistani's fatwa is very serious, bordering on inevitable, IF and only IF Abadi doesn't make tangible things move forward. With or without Mosul. Could Sistani be oversimplifying the issues, maybe, but the suffering of the people of Iraq has become intolerable for the Supreme religious leader. He would be negligent to not command the GOvernment to end this suffering of the people. This is a very commanding threat to Abadi if Abadi does not do something that directly ends this suffering.
terryk:  ok back for a min
mac:  Sistani cares not for the individual tribes concerns, he is not politically motivated. This would be like the Pope or the Dahli Lhama speaking out on Governmental or Social injustice.
jannilew:  "Looks like they can't now" Okay Mac, is it okay for me to get excited, now?
arizona49:  Mr. Sistani nominate "Fayad," instead of Abadi for prime minister http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&sandbox=0&sl=ar&tl=en&u=http://skypressiq.net/12231-%25D8%25A7%25D9%2584%25D8%25B3%25D9%258A%25D8%25AF%2520%25D8%25A7%25D9%2584%25D8%25B3%25D9%258A%25D8%25B3%25D8%25AA%25D8%25A7%25D9%2586%25D9%258A%2520%25D9%258A%25D8%25B1%25D8%25B4%25D8%25AD%2520%25D8%25A7%25D9%2584%25D9%2581%25D9%258A%25D8%25A7%25D8%25B6%2520%25D8%25A8%25D8%25AF%25D9%2584%25D8%25A7%2520%25D9%2585%25D9%2586%2520%25D8%25A7%25D9%2584%25D8%25B9%25D8%25A8%25D8%25A7%25D8%25AF%25D9%258A%2520%25D9%2584%25D8%25B1%25D8%25A6%25D8%25A7%25D8%25B3%25D8%25A9%2520%25D8%25A7%25D9%2584%25D9%2588%25D8%25B2%25D8%25B1%25D8%25A7%25D8%25A1.html
mac:  Yes Janni, excited about what has happened, there still is no conclusion to what will happen to the currency yet but according to TK we are again, close.
mac:  What do you think TK?
